2) The City Council of the City of Ramsey has directed <br />that the land area described in Appendix A will be donated to Anoka <br />County for recreational use except such land acreage that will be utilized <br />in the construction of the Rum River Bridge Crossing. The above donation <br />of land will be providing Anoka County acquires the grant to construct <br />the above recreational facility. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Council of the City of Ramsey does direct <br />that one member of their City Cotuncil or an individual whom theY may <br />appoint be a member of any Commission/Committee that does the plaraning <br />of the development of this land area. <br /> <br />Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Cottncilmen Reimann, Cox and Sorteberg. Voting <br />no: None. Absent: Councilman Mickelson. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Adopted this the 15th day of January, 1980, by the City Council of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />covers 22 acres~, including biking~ hiking trails~ swi/uming pool~ etc. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann suggested that this arena~ if located in Ramsey~ could' <br />be used in conjunction with the Rum River~, nature center and canoe rentals~ etc. <br /> <br />A discussion was held concerning changing the boundary, of the Urban Service <br />Area. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the approximate cost of changing these items in the <br />Plan that were not anticipated is $1~000 and noted that the City could try to get <br />some of this money back from the Metro Council. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL MEETING .. <br />CITY COUNCIL/JANUARY 15, '1980/PAGE 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
