DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT

Mr. Eugene Walters from Waltec, Inc., was present.

He stated that he doesn't intend to blacktop the driveway access, the main
reason being that it is half on his property and half on someone else's,
or it may be completely on someone else's property - he doesn't know for sure.

A discussion was held regarding the exterior of the new metal building.

Mayor Gamec stated that there is concern about the back part of the building
which will be facing new Industry Boulevard, further, with industry that
will be coming in, it could have an aesthetic affect on their business.

Mr. Walters pointed out that the building will have skylights along the
back si~e which will help break up the metal appearance.

Councilman Mickelson questioned how these cases have been handled in the past.
He noted that other businesses were required to at least put on a certain
percentage of what is required by the City ordinance.

Mayor Gamec stated that the back of the building would have to be some other
material or design than the white metal that is proposed.

Page 3
Council meeting/January 22, 1980

CITY OF RAMSEY
