A~ninistrator Schnelle responded that either Mr. Berg or he
would be handling all zoning matters now and pick up the work formerly
handled by Ms. Arlene Peddycoart. City Administrator Schnelle also stated
he was institutinga system whereby each City employee would account for
his or her time on an hourly basis. Councilman Cox stated he wanted to
make sure there was one specific person in charge of all zoning matters
and accountable to the Planning and Zoning Commission. A general dis-
cussion was held between the Council members and City Administrator Schnelle
regarding the site plan ordinance and the staff necessary to implement and
administer this new ordinance. City Administrator Schnelle stated the
present staff can handle the work load as it exists today, but that addi-
tional building activity, etc., in the future may necessitate additional
staff.

It was the concensus of the Council that the City Attorney should report
to the Council at each meeting regarding the status of items assigned to
him.

COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS

TRAFFIC PROBLEM ON TUNGSTEN STREET

Mayor Gamec stated he had discussed the truck parking problem with the City
Police Department and Grosslein Beverage.
