Mayor Gamec said a residence is not required for a unit. <br /> <br />Mr. Fountain asked when the project could be completed and Mayor Gamec <br />said perhaps mid June, 1980. <br /> <br />Linda Ziemer, 15001 Kamacite, asked about the storm sewer project and she <br />was referred to the next hearing. <br /> <br />Dick Bunes asked if the total project cost is the estimated cost then <br />will a per foot cost also be assessed. Mayor Gamec said no, this is a <br />unit assessment only. <br /> <br />Jerry Dahlheimer asked if he would be assessed even if he has frontage <br />only on County #56 and not on 153rd. Mayor Gamec said the assessment <br />hearing would determine this, but probably he will be. <br /> <br />Marilyn Gallagher, 6905 - 151st asked regarding drainage problem in her <br />area and if a culvert couldn't be installed. Mayor Gamec said this would <br />be checked into. <br /> <br />August Peltzer, 15042 Limonite, said he would through the last depression <br />and for the residents to go into debt with the present economic uncertainty, <br />is unwise. He said the current streets will do the job, Councilman Cox <br />said he was pleased to hear Mr. Peltzer's comments and he was amazed that <br />more comments such as his were not made tonight in the three public hear-. <br />ings. <br /> <br />Roger Shasky said he felt the costs involved could seriously affect the <br />financial stability of the families assessed. <br /> <br />Eileen Rick, 15059 Limonite Street asked if because of the industrial <br />zoning behind her, would this hasten sewer, <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said possible. <br /> <br />Also because of the dump, will this hasten sewer? <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said this is possible too but hopefully this will not occur. <br /> <br />There was some discussion on the precautions which, haYe been t~ken to <br />eliminate ground water pollution caused by the landgil!~ <br /> <br />Mr. Don Martin, 14900 Kamacite, said where he used to liye, theblacktop <br />streets caused his taxes to more than double~ <br /> <br />Chuck Smith, 7145 - 151st Avenue N.W, said he~'s .against btack~op now be~ <br />cause of the cost but as an alternative to help out perhaps the~neighbors <br />could slow down and cause less dust. <br /> <br />Linda Ziemer asked if oiling wouldn,t be an aiternatiye~ <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said no. <br /> <br />PUBLIO HEARIN§ <br /> S .00ND <br /> <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
