5. Moroz OK Hardware Requesting Variance from Street Setback Requirements <br />for Self-Service Gas Station on 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Geno Moroz from Moroz OK Hardware was present and asked if the city <br />wanted a gas station up there and he would like to get a variance on it. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said the city agreed to a gas station there, but <br />he asked if he could live with the 90' set at the last meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Moroz said he couldn't go the 90'. He said no one told him anything <br />about paying $90.00 for a variance at the last meeting. He asked what <br />Bob Muller is getting for a setback. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said he would look the information up for <br />him and get back to him at a later time. <br /> <br />6. Adoption of Ordinance #80-3 Rezoning Land; Case of Dr. Burnell <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />Ordinance #80-3 Amending Section 170.012 of Chapter 170.01 of the City Code <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota to Rezone the Property of Dr. Burnell from I-1 Industrial <br />to B-1 Business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Councilmen Reimann, Sorteberg, ~Iickelson and Cox. <br />Voting no-None. Please refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #80-3. <br /> <br />7. Cable TV Regarding Ramsey, Anoka and Champlin <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said the material on this was for council information <br />only. <br /> <br />8. Board of Review Action on Market Values in the City of Ramsey and Legislation <br /> <br />Pertaining To It <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle informed the council that City Assessor Wirz <br />was going to take the Board of Review Resolution #80-1 and attachments <br />to the County Assessor. When the city reduced the valuations, it split <br />the cost over the county, so they may be reluctant to go along with it. <br />He recommended appointing a council person to get together.with the County <br />to get their wholehearted support on this. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox that the <br />Legislative Committee person go to the County to get their support for <br />the city's resolution on Market Values in the City of Ramsey and Legislation <br />Pertaining To It. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Councilmen Reimann, Sorteberg, Mickelson and Cox. <br />Voting no-None. <br /> <br />9. Amending Subdivision Code Regarding Lot Size Calculation to Include <br /> <br />Streets in Cases of Two and One-Half Acre'Lots or Larger in Transitional <br />or Rural Service Area <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said that this amendment was erroneously <br />ommitted from a list of amendmentsat the public hearing that was held <br />to include the proposed amendment.
