4) City Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br /> City Administrator Schnelle said he would print copies of the Ramsey <br />City Comprehensive Plan for distribution to be made to pertinent communities <br />as required by the Metro Council. <br /> <br />$) August Council Meetings <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox that there <br />be only one regular council meeting in August 1~80 and that meeting be <br />held on the fourth Tuesday of August, which is August 26, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />6) Mr. Harold Hanson Regards to a Buildable Lot <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka was directed to review this matter for the assessment <br />hearing. <br /> <br />7) DNR Reply Regarding Our Letter Dated February 21, 1980 in Regards to <br /> <br />Correlating the Wild and'Scenic Ordinance with the Critical River Area <br /> <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />The city council noted this at the meeting. <br /> <br />8) Correction of Culvert at l?7th & Tonto; Regarding Mr. Mary'Nelson <br /> <br />Complaint to CoUncil <br /> <br />The City Council noted this at the meeting. <br /> <br />9) Seminar on Levy Limits and State Aids <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to authorize <br />City Administrator Schnelle to represent the City of Ramsey at the seminar <br />on levy limits and state aids. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson~ and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />10) Metro Council Regarding LightRail Transit Feasibility Study <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recommended having a letter on file with the Metro Council <br />stating that Ramsey should have light rail transit because of the energy <br />shortage and because people in Ramsey are getting jobs out of the city. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said the letter should include that if they intend to <br />charge Ramsey for this, we want to know where it will go. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recommended having a Consent Agenda at the council meetings <br />whereby the council could just go down the list to save making a lot of <br />motions. <br /> <br />C/July 8, 1980 <br /> Page 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
