He recommended calling
a neighborhood hearing amd finding out what they want to do.

Councilman Reimann suggested getting a feasibility study and going ahead with
calling a hearing.

Mayor Gsmec said the city is going to have to put sewer in there. He ques~
tioned if there would be some way the city could put a street in there so
when sewer comes in, it doesn't have to be dug up, as it is questionable
where the main line will run.

Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt
Resolution #80-66a directing City Engineer Raatikka to prepare a preliminary
report for the improvement of Tungsten Street, RivlynAvenue and Front Street.

Motion carried. It has nothing to do with paying city bills. It will take some
workload off Jeanne and give her time to do the things that should be done
~OW.

Mayor Gamec said the City is buying a computer instead of hiring another
person.

City Administrator said this will be helpful for budget purposes and invest-
ment records. The city has 26 pay periods per year, so the cost will run
approximately $400 annually.

Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimarm to approve of
the City of Ramsey entering a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Anoka
regarding having Ramsey's accounting on their computer.

C/July 8, 1980
Page 8
