Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />Resolution #80- 78 RequestirgExtension of Time in Submitting City of Ramsey's <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. Refer to resolution file for Resolution # 78 . <br /> <br />9) Ramsey Landfill <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle noted the copy of a letter received from Mrs. Sue Van Wagne~ <br />15001 Garnet St., dated August 25, 1980, in which she reiterated her concerns <br />about the possible dangers that exist at her resident which are b~ing caused <br />by the landfill. He stated he sent a copy of her letter to the Anoka County <br />Administrator, State Health Dept., Pollution Control Agency and Waste Management, Inc. <br />for their review. He stated when Mrs. Van Wagner came in with her complaints, <br />he told her to put her complaints in writing so he could bring them to the <br />council. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he thought this was a good way to handle these complaints. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said he felt being the landfill was partly created by Anoka <br />in 1967, they should be responsible to the landowners there. <br /> <br />The consensus of the council was to write a letter to Anoka regarding their <br />transferring their title to the landfill. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to schedule <br />a public hearing on the Scenic Rivers'issue for September 16, 1980 at ?:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />10) EDA Grant City Hall (Project 06-~1-028~? <br /> <br />The memo from the EDA office stating the audit review of Project 06-51-02857 <br />was completed and the project is closed out with a zero balance was noted <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br />11) Receiving and Accepting/Rejecting of Bids for MSA Proj.ect #80-15 <br />Street Improvement of 153rd Avenue Between Count~Road ~ and #4? <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt <br />Resolution #80- 79 Receiving and Accepting of Bids for MSA Project #80-13 <br />Street Improvement of 153rd Avenue Between County Road#5 and#t?. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Co~mcilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. Refer to resolution file for Resolution #80- 79 <br /> <br />12) Public Hearing Requesting Partial Vacating of 150th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #80- 80 authorizing partial vacation of 150th Lane N.W., the <br />specified parts of which are legally described in the public hearing notice. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Micketson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None.
