PUBLIC HEARING <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a <br />public hearing regarding Hagen's Unplatted Street Improvement Project <br />#80-6 on October 14, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 8:45 P.M. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said this project involves the upgrading of streets <br />in Hagen's Unplatted development. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the cost of the project are $92,750.00 for <br />construction, $11,760.00 for Engineering, Staking, Inspection costs, <br />$940.00 for fiscal and legal costs, $3,480.00 for administrative and <br />escrow expenses and $870.00 for miscellaneous expenses for a total <br />of $109,800.00. The costs is divided between 60 units for a total of <br />$1,830.00 per unit. <br /> <br />Following this hearing, the owner of any property so assessed will have <br />thirty (30) days to pay the assessment without interest. <br /> <br />Mr. Arnie Billmark 9420 Ermine Blvd. <br /> <br />Mr. Cilmark said his property was specifically pointed out on the map <br />as a unit to be assessed as one unit and now he is being assessed for two <br />unit. He said he was specifically told at the last meeting that he <br />would be assessed for one unit because there was only one building site. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said this problem would be noted and looked into. He said <br />a finding of facts would be made and a decision would be made at the <br />October 28, 1980 meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Kramer, 17820 Halas Street N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Kramer questioned whether his lot was buildable or not. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said on paper, it is buildable, but if it is looked into, <br />it is questionable. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
