PUBLIC HEARING <br /> City of Ramsey <br /> Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a <br />public hearing regarding the Tungsten and Front Street Storm Sewer <br />(Project #79-10) on October 14, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said the estimated costs of the project are <br />$44,565.38 for construction, $6,772.04 for Engineering, Staking & Con- <br />struction, $1,810.75 for Fiscal and Legal expenses, $1,849.00 for Administra- <br />tive and Escrow Costs and $5,300.00 for a total cost of $60,297.17. <br />The costs are divided between 6.562 acres for a total of $9,188.84 per acre. <br /> <br />He said this project was originated by the commercial people in the area, <br />but he recommended the city pick up the residential share of $9,648.16. <br />This figure represents the approximate amount of benefit derived by the <br />residences in this area that were not included. He said it was up to <br />the council to decide this. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said he received a complaint regarding <br />Grosslein's water coming off his building. Mr. Grosslein has been <br />contacted regarding this matter. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the public on this proposed project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson <br />to adjourn the public h~aring. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
