SPECIAL COUNCIL <br /> City of Ramsey <br />Anoka County <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held <br />a special on October 20, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Receiving and Accep.~ing Bid for Construction Projects #80-15 and #80-16 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #80-144 receiving and accepting bids for Construction <br />Projects #80-15 and #80-16 and awarding bid to low bidder, NDH. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg~a~...: <br />Mickelson. Voting no-None. Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #80- 144 . <br /> <br />2[) Review of the 1981 City Core Budget and Supplements to It <br />and the 1981 ~ 1984 Capitol Improvement Program Budget <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />table review of the 1981 City Core Budget and Supplements and the 1981 - <br />1984 Capitol Improvement Program Budget until November 5, 1980 when <br />all council members could be present. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and <br />Mickelson. Voting no-None. <br /> <br /> Meeting with Frank Myers, V. P. and Steve Schmitt, Chairman of the <br />Boar~, State Bank of Anoka <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said on Thursday, Jean notified the State Bank of Anoka <br />that the City was going to close their account there because of <br />not getting mm~ service and interest and there was a problem transferring <br />over funds, which has cost $20/week going back and forth. The bank <br />officials wanted a meeting with the Mayor and Administrator Schnelle. <br />He and Administrator Schnelle met with them and explained the City's <br />problems.
