MOROZ I-L6RDWARE Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimarun to amend the performance contract and allow extension of time to November 14, 1980, for compliance with the performance contract. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg~ Mickelson, Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. AUGUST PELTZER City Attorney Goodrich stated that no action need be taken as he was ad- visedMr. Peltzer would get the legal descriptions to him within two weeks. NEW BUSINESS STANLEY MORTON Mr. and Mrs. Morton were present. Councilman Cox said that Mr. Morton can do as he pleases because other people are doing as they please even though this is contrary to the City Ordinances. Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt the findings of fact and grant a conditional use permit based on the criteria set forth by Plaruning and Zoning and to enter into a contract with Mr. Morton accordingly..~_'~- ;~'~ ,~d~. ~: ~-~ ~ ~'Oc~O,;~0 There was a discussion of the Council concerning this matter. He was advised that that part of his property where sales are occurring would be 'taxed at a commercial rate. Motion carried. Voting yes Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox. Voting no Mayor Gamec. Mayor Gamec said the reason he voted no was to keep this type of use out of a residential area. LINDA MONTE Linda Monte was present to discuss her home occupation permit application. City A~nistrator Schnelle stated that a Mr. Warner objected to the sign by letter to the City. Councilman Cox said two residents contacted him, who would rather not have their names mentioned, to the effect they do not desire the sign. Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to grant the home occupation permit to Mrs. Monte under conditions of the present ordi- nance smd to permit a 2 x 2 sign, located on her property so as not %o cause a traffic hazard with its location.
