PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Ramsey City Council held a public hearing at 7:30 P.M. on November 25, 1980 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. The purpose of the public hearing was for public input on the proposed uses of Federal General Revenue Sharing funds in regards to the City of Ramsey's 1981 Operational Budget. Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Reimann Councilman Sorteberg Councilman Cox Councilman Mickelson Also Present: Lloyd G. SchneHe, ~City Administrator/Clerk William Goodrich, City Attorney Peter Raatikka, City Engineer Clayton Berg, Building Official Mayor Gamec explained the purpose of this public hearing was regarding proposed uses of Federal General ~evenue Sharing Funds. He stated that the City has come up with the following proposed uses: a) Municipal Center Development - Here the City proposes to remodel the lower portion of the Municipal Center to allow for more citizen uses of this facility. The proposed cost would be $30,000. b) Engineering Development - Here the City is planning on developing its own engineering/planning department and the City proposes to use $17,000 to assist in developing this City department. Mayor Gamec stated that the above proposed uses would become an integral part of the City of Ramsey's 1981 Operational Budget. Mayor Gamec stated the City of Ramsey would like to have citizen input as to where they would recommend the City use these funds.
