He further stated that <br />this had gone before the Council Personnel Committee meeting that was held on <br />Monday afternoon, 5:30 P.M.~ December 15, 1980, and they recommended approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox adopting resolutions <br />#80-166a, Commending Employee Jearane Moen, #80~166b, Commending Employee Arlene <br />Stafford and #80-166c, Commending En~ployee Sheila Beyer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimaran, Sorteberg and <br />Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox directed that these Council minutes dated December 16, 1980, <br />reflect that the contents contained in enclosure (D3-c) of ([D~3 case #3) <br />(which contains proposed 1981 salary recommendation for City employees which <br />were submitted by the City Administrator as required by Council policy adopted <br />December 10, 1979) were not his recommended salary increases for Ramsey City <br />employees. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Cotuneilman Reimann to table action <br />on the ].981 proposed salary increases for City employees. <br /> <br />Discussion; Mr, Berg stated that Councilman Cox didn't set a date for his <br />tabling action on salary increases as to when Comacil would act on them. <br />Mayor Gamec stated that they would be acted on at the special meeting of <br />December 29, 1980. Councilman Cox stated he didn't know if he would be <br />available for that meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann withdrew his second to the above motion and Councilman <br />Cox withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimann to table action on <br />'the proposed 1981 City employee salary increases until the special Council <br />meeting of December 29, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Sorteberg and <br />Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CASE #5 CITY OF RAMSEY COMPREHENSIVE LONG TEP~ EXTENSION AND REQUEST FOR <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO SIGN SECOND AMENDMENT TO METRO GRANT FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />Councfl noted the contents contained in enclosure (D3-d) which contained a <br />letter from Mr. Charles Weaver, Metro Council Chairman, dated December 10, <br />1980 granting the extension of time for the City of Ramsey to complete its <br />Comprehensive Plan until April 1, 1980. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Reimar~n to authorize <br />Mayor Gamec to sign the second amendment to grant agreement between the Metro <br />Council and the City of Ramsey in regards to the City of Ramsey original grant <br />agreement with the Metro Council to assist the City in the cost involved in <br />doing the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />C/December 16, 1980 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
