(Back) <br />ARTICLE I. - IN GENERAL <br />Sec. 10-1. - Keeping of certain animals, livestock and poultry. <br />{a) Pefinition4. The following words, tcrms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the <br />anings ascribed to them in this subsection, cxccpt whcrc the contcxt clearly indicates a diffcrcnt <br />meaning: <br />_Pony m ans a horst that docs not exceed 5,1 inches or 13.2 hands in height. <br />(ala) Animals on less than three acres. None of the following animals shall be maintained on any parcel of <br />land in the city that is not at least 3.0 acres (130,680 square feet) in size: horses, llamas, cows, mules, <br />donkeys, burros, ponies -goats, pigs, sheep, Iambs, turkey, geese and ducks. EXCEPTION: Chickens <br />(hens only, no roosters or crowing hens) may be maintained on parcels less than three acres.
