Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-10-258 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING/APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO <br />ALLOW A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING TO BE NEARER THE FRONT <br />PROPERTY LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE <br />WHEREAS, Allen and Ginger Millner (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance <br />to Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings) of the Ramsey City Code to construct a <br />detached accessory building nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the <br />property generally known as 16841 Wolverine Ct NW and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 6, Block 1, Hunters Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(Subject Property). <br />AND WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on October 15, <br />2015, pursuant to Section 117-53 of the Ramsey City Code, and adopted findings of fact relating <br />to the request for a variance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact #0954, a variance (the "Variance") to allow a detached <br />accessory building nearer the front property line than the principal building is hereby <br />denied/granted. <br />2. That the detached accessory building shall conform with all other applicable setbacks on the <br />Subject Property. <br />3. That the exterior finish of the addition shall be the same as that of the principal building on the <br />Subject Property. <br />4. That the height of the detached accessory building shall not exceed the height of the principal <br />building on the Subject Property. <br />5. That the detached accessory building shall comply with all other applicable Zoning, Building, <br />and Fire Code standards. <br />6. That the Permittee agrees that there will not be any commercial activities within the detached <br />accessory building unless in full compliance with City Code Section 117-351 (Home <br />Occupations). <br />7. The Permittee shall be responsible for all costs incurred in administering and enforcing this <br />Variance. <br />
