October 10, 2015 1 Volume 9 ( Issue 19 Zoning Bulletin <br />Zoning News from Around the <br />Nation <br />MASSACHUSETTS <br />Reportedly, Air BnB locations in Winthrop have been told to cease and <br />desist "after several officials questioned the safety and set up of these <br />rooms." Winthrop officials say that such locations will not operate until a <br />related ordinance is passed, in light of concerns over "licenses, safety is- <br />sues, building code violations, health code violations and sanitation," as <br />well as "taxes and fees." <br />Source: Winthrop Transcript; www.winthroptranscript.com <br />MARYLAND <br />Baltimore County has approved zoning rules for medical marijuana. <br />Under the new rules, "growing and manufacturing facilities would be <br />limited to industrial areas around the county with dispensaries located in <br />business districts, . . .
