ORDINANCE #16-1 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS <br />ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117-58 (RESERVED) OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 AMENDMENTS <br />Section 117-58 is hereby established to read as follows: <br />Sec. 117-58 Administrative Grading Permit <br />(a) Administrative Grading Permit. An Administrative Grading Permit shall be required for any <br />grading project that will disturb forty (40) or more cubic yards of earth material or for any grading <br />activity that would occur within a drainage and utility easement. <br />(b) Exemptions <br />(1) Grading projects subject to the Interim Use Permit requirements established in Section 117- <br />359. <br />(2) Grading projects that meet the criteria established in Section 117-359(c)(1) and (2). <br />(3) Grading activities that will disturb less than forty (40) cubic yards of earth material and are not <br />within a drainage and utility easement. <br />(c) Submittal Requirements. The following information shall be submitted to the City along with the <br />applicable application: <br />(1) Scaled Site Plan that includes: <br />a. Limits of disturbance. <br />b. Proposed contours. <br />c. Any other information deemed necessary by the City. <br />(d) Application Fee and Escrow. An application fee and escrow payment, as established in the Rates <br />and Charges, shall be required. <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #15-19, which has been approved by the City Council <br />of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />
