Regular Planning Commission <br />Meeting Date: 12/03/2015 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />5. 2. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Discuss Potential Work Plan Items and Need for Annual Planning Commission Report <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose <br />The purpose of this case is to introduce a discussion about the possibility of creating an annual Work Plan for <br />policy topics for the Planning Commission. No work plan has been drafted at this point. The intent of this case is to <br />review topics previously raised by the Planning Commission and brainstorm additional topics to review. Ultimately, <br />Staff would request that the Planning Commission prioritize these topics for Staff to develop a reasonable and <br />achievable work plan. <br />Background <br />Traditionally, the Planning Commission has not prepared an annual work plan and focused on the Commission's <br />primary role of reacting to land use applications. However, over the past several months, the Planning Commission <br />has identified several topics that need attention. It will be important to prioritize and establish acceptable <br />completion dates in order to achieve some of these goals. Topics raised include, but are not necessarily limited to <br />the following. <br />1. Review The COR Development Plan <br />2. Comprehensive Plan Update <br />3. Revise Sign Code <br />4. Cell Tower Code <br />5. Conditional Use Permit and Variance Streamlining <br />6.
