The following enclosures were provided by staff for <br />Council review: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Feasibility study prepared by Mr. Pete <br />Raatikka, City Engineer, in regards to this <br />project. <br />Proposed resolution Accepting Feasibility Study <br />for public hearing which will have to be adopted <br />by Council if you want to proceed with this <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by <br />Councilman Sorteberg to adopt Resolution 81- 40a_&.4Daa respectively~ <br />(See resolution file) accepting feasibility study and calling <br />for a public hearing on June 23, 1981. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Sorteberg and Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CASE #11: ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE 1981 CITY HALL <br /> <br />BUGETED AMOUNT OF $30,000 FOR REMODELING LOWER <br />LEVEL OF CITY HALL TO BE USED STRICTLY IN CONJUNCTION <br /> <br />WITH FEDERAL BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR RAMSEY SENIOR <br />CITIZEN CENTER <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner adopting resolution 81- 36 designating the <br />1981 City Hall budgeted amount of $30,000 for remodeling <br />lower level of City Hall to be'used strictly in conjunction <br />with federal block grant funds for Ramsey Senior Citizen <br />Center, providing Ramsey gets a full allocation and grant. <br />(See resolution file) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, <br />Councilman Reimann, Councilman Sorteberg and Councilwoman <br />Van Wagner. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CASE #12: LEGISLATION <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec discussed attending a meeting with an <br />attorney regarding filing suit for state aids. The <br />initial cost would be approximately $500.00. Lake Crystal <br />will join in suit if changes are favorable, suit cost <br />will be approximately $5,000.00. The initial cost would <br />be for the feasibility of the suit. <br /> <br />General discussion by Council regarding this issue followed. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann <br />adopting Resolution 81- 35 requesting from John Clawson a <br />full accounting of why he did not proceed with his committ- <br />ment to the City of Ramsey regarding irregular distribution <br />of local state aid. <br /> <br />C/M~y 12, 1981 <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
