Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to <br />close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Comnci]man Sorteberg, <br />Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimarm and Councilwoman Van Wagner. <br />Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED AT 9:10 p.m. <br /> <br />9:11 p.m. - M~ETING CALLED TO ORDER FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />RE: STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #81-7 <br /> <br />163RD AVENUE AND OLIVINE STREET N.W. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka explained proposed project. <br /> <br />Resident Richard Abott, stated he doesn't have a drainage problem and <br />would not benefit from this proposal. City Engineer Raatikka stated <br />that is the lay of the land. Comncilman Cox asked wouldn't west <br />of Olivine be better. City Engineer Raatikka stated, they have a <br />culvert on that side of the street. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman Cox to <br />close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Game¢, Councilman Sorteberg, <br />Councilman Cox, Councilman Reiman~ and Councilwoman Van Wagner. <br />Voting no: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC H~ING CLOSED. <br /> <br />MEETING CALLED BACK TO ORDER: <br /> <br />CASE #4: STORM SEWER PROJECT #81-7163RD AVENUE N.W. AND OLIVINE <br /> <br />STREET N.W. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimama to suspend <br />any action for the following reasons: 1. There is no problem at the <br />present time and also the City should keep an eye on the culvert and <br />see that it is in proper working order and if problems arise in the <br />future the City should 10ok at the problem at that time. <br /> <br />Discussion: This is not the total benefiting area :as originally <br />indicated. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman <br />Reimann~ Councilman Sorteberg and Cotuncilwoman Van Wagner. Voting no: <br />None. <br /> <br />CASE #3: STORM SEWER'PROJECT #8I-8 159TH AVENUE AND DOLOMITE <br /> <br />STREET <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the City should look at dry well alternative. <br /> <br />C/May 26, 1981 <br /> <br /> <br />
