Case #5: REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO 0'PERATE A <br /> <br />MOTORCYCLE REPAIR SHOP, CASE'OP' MR. D'ONALD <br />JONES, 15408 SUNFISH LAKE BLVD~. N.W.: <br /> <br />Donald Jones came before the Council and requested a conditional <br />use permit to operate a motorcycle repair shop. Mayor Gamec <br />stated several neighbors are not in favor of Mr. Jone~s request. <br />Jim Pruvinzin from Anoka Kawaski asked the council if they <br />were allowing a commercial business in a residential area. <br />Mayor Gamec stated a condition use permit was requested. <br />Donald Jones stated his work would be seasonal, there would <br />be no competition as he only worked on Harley Da-vidsons,- <br />he would not have any employees and he was not aware that <br />any of the neighbors were against his request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman <br />Sorteberg to deny a conditional use permit for. Mr. Jones <br />due to the neighbors being against it. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilwoman Van <br />Wagner, Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilman <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Case ~6: PRICE QUOTES FOR PURCHASE OF ELECTRIC'TYPEWRITER <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilwoman Van <br />Wagner to adopt Resolution #81-64 . (See resolution file) <br />Resolution accepting the bids received for the purchase of <br />a new typewriter and purchase of typewriter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilwoman Van <br />Wagner, Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilman <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: PROPOSED AMENDMENT. TO THE REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS <br /> <br />AND PRELIMINARY 'CABLE T.V. FRANCHISE: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner and seconded by Councilman <br />Sorteberg to adopt Resolution #81- 66 (See resolution file) <br />Resolution Amending the Request for Proposals for a Cable <br />Communication System for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gameo, Councilwoman Van <br />Wagner, Councilman Reimann, Councilman Cox and Councilman <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: REMOVAL OF HAZARDOUS BUILDINGS:· <br /> <br />Mr. Holker has 30 days or until August 15 to take care <br />of the problem. Mr. Holker will sign a confession of judgment <br />giving him until August 15th to do so. Attomney Goodrich <br />will enter into an agreement as city attorney to take care <br />of this.
