Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-03-064 <br /> <br />RESOLUTOIN AUTHORIZING STAFF TO BEGIN RECRUITMENT PROCESSES <br />FOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN II <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in December 2003 the City Council approved the 2004 City budget which <br />included a new Engineering Technician II position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Director and Assistant Director have evaluated the <br />clepartment's needs and determined that they would like to begin the recruitment process for an <br />Engincc~'ing rFcchnician II; and <br /> <br /> Wlt EREAS, staff has reqnested authorization to begin the recruitment process for this <br />position. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />I) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment processes to hire a full-time regular <br />Engincering Technician II. <br /> <br />The motion roi' the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />l<urak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Cotmcilmember <br />Cotmci hnenlber <br />Councihnember <br />Councilmember <br />Cotmcilmember <br />Cotmcihnember <br /> <br />Cook <br />Kurak <br />Elvig <br />Pearson <br />Strommen <br />Zimmerman <br /> <br />and tiao following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />NOlIO <br /> <br /> <br />
