The Comprehensive Plan is updated
every ten (10) years and helps guide areas of future residen-
tial neighborhoods and business districts. This plan will
help determine what areas may see future development and
what areas may remain as they are today.
This is a great opportunity for residents to get involved
in shaping the future of the community. This plan will help
determine the future of neighborhoods such as The COR,
south of Highway 10/west of Armstrong Boulevard, south
of Highway 10 near Sunfish Lake Boulevard, and many
more. This plan is also anticipated to create a robust Parks
and Recreation Plan for the community. Other potential
discussion topics include corridor plans for key transporta-
tion corridors such as Highway 47 and Nowthen Boulevard.
The Steering Committee is anticipated to meet quarterly
through 2018, or more frequently as needed.
For more information, or an application to indicate
your interest, contact Tim Gladhill, Community Devel-
opment Director, at tgladhill@cityoframsey.com or 763-
433-9826. More information can be found online at www
cityoframsey.com/comprehensiveplan.
2
Ramsey Resident • January/February 2016
