CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on the 8th day of <br />December, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Strommen, Councilmember Johns, Councilmember Kuzma, Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, Councilmember Riley, Councilmember Shryock, and Councilmember <br />Williams <br />And the following were absent: <br />None <br />Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed <br />with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #15-12-292 <br />DECERTIFYING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 7 AND <br />RETURNING EXCESS TAX INCREMENTS TO OTHER TAXING JURISDICTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey (the "City") has heretofore created Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 7 (the "Tax Increment District"); and <br />WHEREAS, the developments to be undertaken within the Tax Increment District as set <br />forth in the tax increment financing plans have been completed and the final tax increment payment <br />has been made or decertification of the Tax Increment District is required pursuant to law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "City") as follows: <br />1) The City Council hereby finds, declares and determines to decertify Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 7 effective as of December 31, 2015. <br />2) Any tax increments collected from Tax Increment Financing District No. 7 shall be <br />returned to the County Auditor of Anoka County for distribution to the affected tax <br />jurisdictions in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, subdivision 2. <br />
