Title Authorize Tenant to Submit a Building Permit Application for Food Prep Room Improvements in Relation to a Lease Agreement at 6701 Highway 10 Purpose/Background: Purpose/Background: The City of Ramsey currently leases a portion of 6701 U.S. Highway 10 to Northern Youth First Community of Promise (NOTE: legally, this lease is with the Anoka County Community Consortium ACCC). Attached to this case is the lease agreement. Youth First (tenant) requested that the City (landlord) allow them to construct a food prep station within their facility. Based on the original lease agreement (paragraph 10), the tenant must receive written approval from the City to make this improvement (and it most be consistent with the intended use of the property). The purpose of this case is provide said authorization. NOTE: Youth First must still complete the standard building permit application process through our Community Development Department and meet all City/State regulations. Final approval for this sign will technically come from the Community Development Department. Attached to this case is the building permit application. Action: Motion to: Authorize staff to execute the attached letter authorizing Youth First Community of Promise (technically/ legally Anoka County Community Consortium) to submit a building permit application with the City's Community Development Department and, if approved, to construct said food prep station.
