January 11, 2015
Amanda Sappa
Executive Director
Youth First Community of Promise
6701 U.S. Highway 10
Ramsey, MN 55303
Ms. Sappa:
7550 Sunwood Drive NW • Ramsey, MN 55303
City Hall: 763.427.1410 . Fax: 763.427.5543
www.cityoframsey.com
This correspondence is in response to a request recently made related to an existing lease agreement between
the City of Ramsey and Youth First Community of Promise (Anoka County Community Consortium), dated
February of 2007, amended in 2010, and again in 2013 (Lease Agreement).
The specific request made by Youth First Community of Promise is to construct a food prep station, located in
the rear of the Lease Agreement premises.
Youth First Community of Promise will need to complete a building permit application with the City's
Community Development Department, meet all government regulations, and receive an approved building
permit. If these conditions are met, the City (Landlord), authorizes Youth First Community of Promise to pursue
their requested action.
It should be noted, the proposed improvement is considered by the City of Ramsey as a leaseholder
improvement. Said improvements shall not be removed by the tenant upon future termination of this
agreement, and shall become sole property of the landlord with no compensation to the tenant.
On behalf of the City, we thank you for your significant investment in our community!
Best,
Sarah Strommen, Mayor Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator
Itis our mission to work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government services.
