Sodded and landscaped areas around the community building will be irrigated by the city in <br />consideration with the landscape treatments accepted within the vendor's proposal. (Irrigation <br />by the City is separate from the $90,000 not -to -exceed budget.) <br />4. The landscape proposed shall include a few or more deciduous trees, and no coniferous. <br />Foundation plantings or other landscape areas may contain any shrub material, but no barberry <br />or spirea. Landscaping, beds or landscape accents shall use appropriately zoned perennial <br />plant material —annuals are not acceptable. <br />5. Nowhere should rock 'mulch' be used. The City reserves the right to discuss alternatives in <br />landscape plant material or design modifications to those proposed by the vendor. <br />SUBMITTALS: <br />1. One bound proposal to include separate bid prices for equipment and installation; design <br />narrative, materials list with list prices for each element, design layout, illustrations and related <br />supporting documents including warranty(s), compliance letters (ASTM, CPSC and ADAAG) <br />etc. <br />2. Full size (24" x 36" max. preferred) color rendering of the design proposed mounted on foam <br />board. Models of the playstructure may be submitted if desired by the vendor, but are not <br />required. <br />3. Full size plan sheet showing dimensions and equipment layout w/required safety zone limits. <br />4. Additional full size plan sheet showing landscape proposed (if this cannot be adequately <br />represented with playground plan sheet). <br />5. Electronic copy in PDF form of bound proposal is requested within the same business day of <br />the 'hard -copy'.
