Pensions — A number of changes to the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) General <br />Plan were adopted, including: <br />The minimum salary threshold for inclusion into the PERA General Plan was changed <br />from $425 in any one month to $5,100 on any year for non -school employees or $3,800 <br />in any year for school employees. <br />Employers are required to provide written notice to any employee excluded from <br />membership in the PERA General Plan within two weeks of the determination on a form <br />prescribed by the PERA executive director. <br />PERA contribution rates for both employees and employers were increased by <br />0.25 percent of salary effective January 1, 2015. <br />-18- <br />
