He stated her job isn't any more important than any other sec- <br />retarial position on City Staff. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he feels the same as Councilman Muller and Councilman <br />Mickelson. Salaries have been set and should be left as such. <br />Councilman Cox stated he feels hers is a 16% increase and is way out of >~F <br />line. <br /> <br />Motion denied. Voting yes Councilman Cox and Councilman Reimann. Voting <br />no Councilman Muller, Councilman Mickelson and Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />the salaries of the City Staff for 1979 as presented and are as follows: <br /> <br />D. Voting ye~ Councilman Cox and Councilman Reimann. <br /> <br />CRITICAL RIVERS STUDY - WEHRMAN CHAPMAN & ASSOCIATES <br /> <br />A discussion on the tract with Wehrman Chapman & Associates was held. It <br />was the general feeling of the Council that the City of Ramsey had agreed <br />to them doing only the Critical Rivers Study for a contract price of $4,996. <br /> <br />M. S.A. PROJECT - VARIOLITE STREET <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka read the feasibility study on Variolite Street. He ~ <br />stated it would be financed by almost four years of M,S.A. funds. The en- ~ <br />gineering and administrative costs would be 10% over the total cost of the \D <br />pro~ect and could emther be assessed to the abuttmng property owners or taken <br />from general funds. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated it was shceduled to be done in two phases: <br /> <br />1) grading and 3" of gravel <br />2) adding the additional base and then the asphalt <br /> <br /> <br />
