January 8 ~ 19 79 <br />Page 3 <br />Regular Council <br /> <br />A letter was noted from Midwest Federal on the credit neec2for the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />A letter was read on a snowmobile clinic. A general discussion on the com- <br />plaints received on snowmobilers in the City followed. The possibility of <br />passing an ordinance on snowmobilers was discussed but Council felt that the <br />rules and regulations of the State were adequate. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to leave the <br />snowmobile ordinance as is stating the State's rules and regulations are <br />adequate for Ramsey and they will pursue it no further. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Councilman <br />Mickelson, Councilman Cox and Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />A letter was received on the name change of DeZiel's from DeZiel's Supper <br />Club, Inc. to DeZiel's Supper Club Company. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimarm and seconded by Councilman Mickelson noting the <br />change from DeZiel's Supper Club, Inc. to DeZiel's Supper Club Company. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Councilman <br />Mickelson, Councilman Cox and Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />APPOINTING ACTING MAYOR <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to appoint <br />Councilman Muller Acting Mayor for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Reimann, Councilman Mickelson, Council- <br />man Cox and Mayor Gamec. Voting no Councilman Muller. <br /> <br />REAPPOINT CITY ENGINEER FOR CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox to reappoint <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified as the City Engineer for the City of Ramsey <br />for calendar year 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes CouncilmanMuller, Councilman Reimann, Councilman <br />Mickelson, Councilman Cox and Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />REAPPOINT CITY ATTORNEY FOR CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Muller to reappoint Mr. <br />William Goodrich of Weaver, Talle & Herrick as the City Attorney for the City <br />of Ramsey for calendar year 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Muller, Councilman Reimann, Councilman <br />Mickelson, Councilman Cox and Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br /> <br />
