Also to <br />determine the policy presently being followed regarding distribution of <br />radio equipment. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to contact <br />Mr. Ed Fields and review the rational of deciding the distribution of <br />radio equipment to the police departments. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reported he had attended the League of Women Voters Housing <br />Symposium on low income housing and stated this does not apply to the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />He also reported he attended on January 27, 1979 a workshop for the newly <br />elected mayors. He said this had been the best workshop he'd ever been to <br />and thanked everyone for making it possible for him to attend. <br /> <br />Street Superintendent Mevissen was present to discuss with the Council his <br />request to get a bid from the Hennepin County Purchasing Plan.for a truck. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller authorizing <br />participation in the Hennepin County Purchasing Plan purchase an International <br />truck, 27,500 GW, cab and chasis, for an amount not to exceed $12,500. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
