CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on January 29, 1979 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Now-then Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 8:47 P.M, and led in the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Muller <br />Councilman Reimann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Cox <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />City Adm. Schnelle <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Muller and seconded by Councilman Cox to approve the <br />agenda for the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ms. Kathy Schneider was present and introduced to the Council Ms. Joleen <br />Locher, the new reporter for the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec commended Kathy on articles she has written and the fine job in <br />the past. A special thanks from the Council on her efforts. <br /> <br />No further citizen input. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />the minutes of the Swearing-in Ceremony of January 8, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilman Muller, Councilman <br />Reimann, Councilman Mickelson and Councilman Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve <br />the minutes of the public hearing of Jack Menkveld of January 8, 1979. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox noted the first page on the public hearing Mr. Menkveld had <br />been asked about the removal of the tank and Mr. Menkveld stated it would be <br />removed as soon as the weather breaks. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and second by Councilman Muller rescinded. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to approve the <br />minutes o£ the public hearing of Jack Menkveld of January 8, 1979 with the <br />following correction: <br /> <br />Last paragraph of first page should read: <br /> <br /> <br />
