CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on May 14, 1979, at 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Cox Councilman Mickelson Councilman Reimann Councilman Sorteberg Others Present: City Adm. Schnelle City Engr. Raatikka City Attorney Goodrich Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting to order at 9:43 P.M. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to accept the agenda for the May 14, 1979 Council meeting with the following changes and deletion of the Addendum dated May 14, 1979, Tri City Fire changed to S-29-79. a. Under Council Old Business, delete Barthel Rum River Acres 2nd Addition for Final Plat approval. This item is deleted due to a misunderstanding of the new ordinance and other things. It was noted that they were t01d to get it in order and it would be scheduled for June 11, 1979. It was stated to Rick Foster, Engineer for Barthel's Rum River Acres 2ndAddition that final plat for approval must be submitted by June 11, 1979 or this will be cancelled and he was told all aspects of the plat had to be corrected by that date. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. CITIZEN INPUT Mr. Bowman and two other gentlemen presented a petition for street improvement on Jaspar Street between the line of County Road 56 and 163rd Lane N.W., 159th Lane N.W. between the line of Jaspar Street and Ironstone Street, 160th Lane N.W. between the line of Jaspar Street and Ironstone Street and including Iron- stone Street between 159th Lane N.W. and 160th Lane N.W., 162nd Lane N.W. be- tween the line of Jaspar Street N.W. and County Road 56, 160th Lane N.W. west of Jaspar to the dead end. Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt Resolu- tion 79-27 Declaring Adequacy of Petition and Ordering Preparation of Report, and to adopt Resolution 79-27a Receiving Report and Calling Hearing on Improve- ment, and such hearing on the improvement be scheduled for May 29, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. at the Ramsey Municipal Center. The streets to be considered are Jaspar Street N.W. lying between Ramsey Blvd. and 163rd Avenue N.W., 159th Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street N.W. and Ironstone Street N.W., 160th Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street N.W. and Ironstone Street N.W., Ironstone Street N.W. lying between 1S9th Lane N.W. and 160th Lane N.W., 160th Lane N.W. lying in Section 15 Township 32 Range 25 west of Jaspar Street, 161st Lane N.W. lying between Jaspar Street N.W. and Kamacite Street N.W., 162nd Lane N.W. lying be- tween Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and Jaspar Street. Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, Mickelson and Cox. Voting no None.
