1) That prior to final plat approval the developer obtain the approval from the <br /> utility companies to cross the easements with the proposed streets. Also <br /> that the gas and power companies be made aware of any on-site sewage disposal <br /> systems to be constructed on their easement. <br />2) That the condition of the streets in Shady Lawn Estates be reviewed to <br /> assure they are adequate for the projected traffic from the proposed plat. <br />3) That the developer show the location width and types of surface down existing <br /> streets within 100 feet of the proposed plat as required by Article <br /> 170.037B of the City Code. Also the developer provide profiles of proposed <br /> streets and drainage ditches, a grading plan and lot dimensions scaled to <br /> the nearest tenth of a foot as required by Article 170.037C of the City Code. <br />4) That the park land property line will be changed to go up to the drainage <br /> easement line on the north side of Trott Brook; and that Lot 1, Block 4 show <br /> a deed restriction that it will be buildable at such time that it is <br /> accessible. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to grant a variance <br />to Lot 1, Block 4 for lot size to be approximately 1.2 acres because it is <br />deficient according to ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Reimann to grant variances for <br />the cul de sacs which are over 700 feet in length because it is to provide <br />for a future natural extension of the streets; and a variance to Article 170o038H <br />requiring evaluation of the plat by the City Plumbing Inspector, and that the <br />City Inspector will review each lot at the time the building permit is applied <br />for in order to assure proper sewage systems. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JOHN AND GAIL TAYLOR FOR A DOG KENNEL <br /> <br />Public hearing held concerning this request by P & Z on 6/4/79. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Taylor appeared before Council in regard to this request. <br />They stated that they will have from 3 to 5 dogs constantly, will breed dogs <br />and sell the pups. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg that the City <br />Attorney prepare a contract of understanding in regard to the issuance of a <br />dog kennel to include that they will have no more than five adult dogs at one time <br />and the contract is to be brought back to the next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
