Mayor Gamec explained that concrete driveways cannot be connected to <br />the street. The problem being is that in the future if any work has <br />to be done there, culverts etc, there has to be an expansion strip <br />installed about eight feet from the road and if it has to be torn up <br />for some reason, that it would not be replaced with concrete. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec discussed the signing study that is presently being <br />conducted by the Street Department. He said there is less speeding <br />now than there was before. Some of this problem has been alleviated <br />through neighborhood meetings, police radar, etc. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg <br />to close the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Sorteberg.
