LETTERS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reported that the Park Commission is meeting <br />this Thursday night and will look further intoabond or <br />referendum issue for parks to develop parks such as Titterud <br />and Traprock. They will be looking for more citizen input. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said that they should find out what the County <br />plans and have a copy of those plans as to what they are <br />proposing so we don't have duplication of major projects. <br /> <br />Regarding the "S" curve on Highway 47 by Anoka County Fairgrounds. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann <br />to direct staff to prepare a resolution and authorize the <br />Mayor and Administrator to sign it, to the City of Anoka <br />indicating Ramsey's support in correcting the problem of the "S" <br />curve on State Highway 47. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, <br />Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg, Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Mayor Gamec to urge <br />the State to do something to establish an alternate traffic <br />plan adjacent to Highway 10, a service drive etc. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, <br />Mickelson, Reimann and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich stated that it is required by the DNR that <br />the City pass a Wild and Scenic River Ordinance which is to <br />be if affect for the Rum River, needs to be adopted by end of Dec. <br /> <br />A public hearing for the Wild and Scenic River Ordinance is <br />scheduled for 11/27/79 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The DNR is to be contacted to have a representative at this <br />meeting, also the P & R and P & Z Commissions are to attend <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE; CASE OF VERA MCGREGOR <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the license request of Mrs. McGregor <br />has lapsed and that the City must readvertise the liquor license <br />availability.
