The City feels a project of this nature would <br />more adequately be controlled if it were performed by <br />various City service organizations, such as the Lion's <br />Club. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />deny the request of Ron Kramer to cut dead trees in City parks for <br />reasons stated above. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />HEALTH INSURANCE <br /> <br />Informational data received by Council noting that the Personnel Committee <br />and employees will be receiving the same information on rates, etc. <br /> <br />TAX FORFEIT lAND <br /> <br />After a brief discussion regarding the acquisition of this property, it was the <br />Council's consensus not to acquire the property. <br /> <br />LICENSES FOR APPROVAL <br /> <br />License request of Curtis L. Folstad (Metro Dodge & Mazda). Attorney Goodrich <br />reported on the progress of N & N Auto Repair toward placement of a <br />screening fence on their property, that the poles are in and the fence material <br />is on the site and ready to be installed. Metro Dodge & Mazda are requesting <br />a license to sell motor vehicles on the N & N property since D & D Auto is no <br />longer there. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich also commented on the existing sign and that N &N had only <br />repainted the sign and he didn't feel that would be considered an alteration in <br />this particular case and that as far as right of way concerns, that the State <br />Highway Department would be addressing that issue. <br /> <br />Council concurred with the attorney in regard to the sign. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to enter the <br />agreement with N & N Auto Body authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator <br />to sign the agreement. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg.
