Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #16-02-033 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #16-00, DIVISION B; 2016 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to mill and overlay various street segments with Division B of the 2016 Street Maintenance Program for the purpose of maintaining these streets as cost-effectively as possible; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to assess all benefiting properties for 25 - percent of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, the City Charter, and the City's adopted Special Assessments Policy. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the proposed improvements, designated as Improvement Project #16-00, Division B, be referred to the City Engineer for study and that the City Engineer is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether they should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
