He wanted to know when the public hearing will be so he and his lawyer can attend. Mr. Barstow wanted to know _Juat where he stands on this. Mayor Cox said he could not tell him. It was suggested by Councilman Reimann that Mr. Barstow should attemd a couple hearings. Raynold Sanderson, 1701# St. iFrancis Blvd., wanted-to know how they appraise the land. Mayor Cox told Mr. Sanderson .that he is under the Green Acres. Mr. Nereson called. Mr. Homuth of DNR 'and informed him of the Rum River bridge crossing and asked what Ramsey should ac to inform the DNR, and Mr. Homuth indicated there was to. be no,problem. However, he.has now received a letter from the Minnesota Dept. of Transportation which is contradictor~, and he feels that we should have an understanding between the Highway Dept. and the DNR. Mayor Cox told Mr. Nereson to write a letter to the DR~ asking for a written response and send a.eopy to Ed Fields, County Commissioner. Personne~ . It was felt that the money~ taken in from the permits should be put back into the community and give'people their money'S worth.in.inspections. It would depend on the individual hired, but if he could do the Job well, it could eliminate 'par.ttime help.
