Public Hearing ~/25/77

PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF R~MSEY
COUNTY OF ANOKA
STATE OF MINNESOTA

A Public Hearing was held on April 25, 1977, at Ramsey
Elementary School, Music Room,~l~O00 Nowthen Blvd. N.W.,
Ramsey, Minnesota 55503.

Present: Mayor Cox Also Present: Adm. Asst. Nereson
Councilman Gorham
Councilman Mickelson
Councilman Muller
Councilman Reimann

Mayor Arnold Cox called the Public Hearing to order at 7:10 P.M.

Mayor Cox indicated that the Hearing was for the purpose of
hearing input either pro or con to a request from Marvel B. Klemish
to vacate a public utility easement on Lots 2 and 3 of Block 3,
Klemish addition in the City of Ramsey. Mr. Edward Klemish,
speaking on behalf of Marvel B. Klemish, indicated to the Council
the need to vacate the easement because of a structure which was
built on the easement. A lot subdivision was approved by the
City Council on January 10, 1977, which conveyed 25 feet from
Lot 2 to Lot 3, Block 3, of Klemish Addition.

Administrative Assistant, Phil Nereson, introduced a sketch plan
of the area indicating where the old lot line and easement
existed and a proposed new easement ten feet either side of the
new lot line. It was noted that all lots in the subdivision
have a ten foot easement on each side of the interior lot lines.

Mayor Cox asked for any other input from citizens in attendance
at the Public Hearing. No further comment was heard from anyone
in attendance.

Councilman Mickelson moved to close the Public Hearing. The
motion was seconded by Councilman Reimann and was passed on

a five to zero vote.
Respectfully submitted,

Phil D. Nereson

City Administrator
