Yayor <br />Cox asked Fr. I'lereson to draw findings of fact relative to their decision for <br />adoption at a later meeting. <br /> <br />NE~ <br /> <br />154th and Zirconium Traffic Control <br /> <br />A petition from area residents and a letter from Ms. Kathy Schneider was <br />received and the police chief will be asked to do a further report on the <br />traffic control at this intersection. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />The Council reviewed the various reports from the departments, and no com~ents <br />~ere made, <br /> <br />~D~INISTR~TIVE REPORT <br /> <br />Yr. Nereson announced that the October lOth Council meeting ~.~tl be changed to <br />Tuesday, October llth, as Fonday is Columbus Day, a legal holday. <br /> <br />~OTION by Reimann, seconded by Mickelson, to pay the final payment estin~ate <br />reference MSA 77-1 (153rd AvenUe) to NDH for $19,458.61. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />ATTORNEYS REPORT <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich gave the Council a report on possible tax exempt mortgages <br />for industrial development. It was his opinion that there is a very negligible <br />exposure for city liability. Council gave a general consensus and asked that <br />interested parties present a focal proposal. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich indicated to the Council that there has been an increase in <br />petty citations issued at the weigh station and would like the council's direc- <br />tion as to his ~nvolvement. The Council's consensus was to have Yr. Goodrich <br />check with the highway patrol and indicate that the city does not wish to accept <br />legal defense costs for numerous petty citations issued at the weigh station. <br /> <br />He advised the Council that some residents may think that the Grossline lot is <br />half residential[ but the ordinance as adopted and published rezoned the entire <br /> <br /> <br />
