Fublic }Tearing 10/!?/77 <br /> <br />A Fublic }.earing was ?~eld on October 17, 1977, at Ramsey Elementary School, <br />?:usic ~oom, 15000 Fowthen Boulevard, F.W., Ramsey, Finnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />1.' ay or Cox <br />Councilman C amee <br />Councilman I',. ickels on <br />C curie ilman Fuller <br />Councilman Reimann <br /> <br />Also present: <br /> <br />Adm. Asst. ~!ereson <br />Bob Isakson <br />Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />1.'ayor Cox called the Public Pearing to order at 7:35. <br />Fayor Cox led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Fayor Cox indicated that this publdc hearing was designed for citizen dnput <br />and wanted, everyone to understand that no decisions would be made tonight. <br /> <br />Attorney Goodrich explained that the Planning Commission adopted Planning and <br />Zoning's July'llth Findings of Fact. Pe also explained that notice of this <br />Fublic Fearing was published in the Anoka Union. He said %hat the staff would <br />welcome any written statements concerning this Public .~{earing and would like <br />to have them by Friday of this week at the very latest and su_bmit them to <br />City }..'all. <br /> <br />~.r. Nereson, City Administrator, explained changes that have been made and <br />discussed the three development regions being created by the City. Each <br />region wi].l have different lot sizes and different types of development <br />plans. <br /> <br />~r. ~lereson passed out a map showing changes which have resulted as of the <br />June 30th Public Nearing and explained each of these changes, which are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />T~e entire area around the Sunfish Lake Area ds now UP~, originally was <br />proposed <br /> <br />One hundred forty ninth lane across from Ramsey Elementary School was also <br />zoned UT~. It is largly undeveloped land and the land owner asked if it <br />could be changed to urban residential, and that change was made. <br /> <br />Just F, orth of Ramsey Terrace, on the urging of the land o~mer, the City <br />straightened out a UC and !~ line, making it more I~ zoning. <br /> <br />In the southwest corner of the 1990 urban area, one forty acre parcel was <br />included in the urban study and zoned UC at the request of the land <br />O~q er, <br /> <br /> <br />
