Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-01-024 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Temporary Ice Rink Attendants to supervise and <br />perform various tasks at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School ice rinks, warming houses <br />and grounds for approximately 10 weeks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recruited for, interviewed, and selected qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, all candidates passed the pre-employment screening; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring Jake Baldus, Mitchel Barr, Justin Goodman, <br />Brianna Lick, Hailey Miller, Harrison Redepenning, Andrew Streetar and Tyler Trovik as <br />Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within that Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.00 to $10.00 <br />per hour; effective December 9, 2015. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #16-01-024 to hire Jake Baldus, Mitchel Barr, Justin Goodman, <br />Brianna Lick, Hailey Miller, Harrison Redepenning, Andrew Streetar and Tyler Trovik as <br />Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within that Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.00 to <br />$10.00 per hour; effective December 9, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
