Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-01-029 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALE OF A TAX FORFEIT <br />PARCEL IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY — NAMELY OUTLOT A, RAMSEY MEADOWS <br />5TH ADDITION, PIN 24-32-25-33-0061 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received notification from the Anoka County Board <br />of Commissioners that Outlot A, Ramsey Meadows 5th Addition, Ex Rd Subj to Ease of Rec PIN <br />24-32-25-33-0061 has been classified as tax forfeited land; and <br />WHEREAS, classification and sale of any tax forfeited land lying within the bounds of <br />any incorporated municipality must be approved by the governing body of such municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has no need for the above-mentioned parcels. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESTOA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey has no need for a parcel known as Outlot A Ramsey Meadows 5th <br />Addition, PIN 24-32-25-33-0061. <br />2) That the City of Ramsey hereby approves the classification and sale of this tax forfeit <br />parcel. <br />3) That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to submit a copy of this resolution to Anoka <br />County for their records. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
