Council 5-8-78 (2) <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, seconded by Reimann as follows: Be it resolved, that the <br />City of Ramsey Joins with the County of Anoka in making application for <br />housing rehabilitation grants under the HUD Small Cities Grant Program and <br />hereby authorizes the County of Anoka to execute said applications provided <br />that the City is promptly and fully informed of all application details, it <br />being also understood that the program, if funded, will be administered by <br />the Community Action Program of Anoka, Inc. This program does not affect <br />or restrict Ramsey in any other program. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />MOTION by Mickelson, seconded by Gamec that the mayor be authorized to execute on <br />behalf of the City, the g. oint Powers Agreement with the County of Anoka for <br />HUD Small Cities Program grants. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS $ <br /> <br />1. Final Plat for Pineview Estates <br /> <br />This issue was reviewed and generally discussed by the Council. <br /> <br />MOTION by Muller, seconded by Reimann to approve the final plat of Pineview <br />Estates with the recommendations by the Engineer, and that the City Attorney <br />checks over the abstract. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of Off-Sale Ordinance <br /> <br />The Council generally discussed the off-sale liquor ordinance. It was decided <br />that no applications are to be considered or licenses issued until After July 1. <br />Applications received before July 1 are not to be considered and all applications <br />will have to be new. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the C~ncil to wait on adopting this ordinance until <br />Attorney Goodrich can redraft it. <br /> <br />5 Ayes <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Petition for paving of streets - Azurite, Zirconium and Yttrium between 162nd <br /> Avenue and 166th Lane and 162nd Avenue, 166th Lane and 164th Lane N~ <br /> <br />Engineer Rattikka was directed to make a cost estimate on surfacing the roads to <br />be presented to the citizens at the next council meeting so that each citizen w~ld <br />know what it woald do to individual taxes. <br /> <br />2. Bike Lane - 167th - Report by Engineer Raatikka <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka recommended a minimum width of 6' for a bike lane at a cost <br />of $27,000. It would include striping, signing and engineering and administration <br />costs. Mr. Raatikka was directed to ~raw it up so that the set backs on MSA roads <br />are further back than regular streets. Mayor Cox told Engineer Raatikka that 167th <br />should have a top priority when upgraded on MSA Funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
