Ramsey, !'.~ 5530~ Present: l'~hyor Cox Councilman Gamec Councilman Mickelson Co~mcilman Muller Councilman Reimann Also Present: Attorney Goodrich Engineer Sha Administrator Schnelle ?~yor Co~ called -the public hearing to order at 7:25 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. I.~.yor Co~ snnom~ced 'the purpose of 'the public hearing is to consider a street_..~mprovement for Greenland Hills ~2 and tn_s'~ hearing_ . is for the benefit of persons in. Greenland Hills to respond with questions and input regarding the improvement. Mro Shs presented the feasibility study. The total cost of 'the project: :'.~30,000, tots], unit 26, cost per unit ~1153,~5, over a ten year period - annual payment of ~f16~.2~ and over a 15 year period ~26.68. Mr. Sba reviev~ed 't~e schedule of events that would occur, in this project. Kenneth Strut asked %;by the cost of the project jmaped ~2,000 within the time fro~'~, the last notice. Mr. Sba e×plained that the cost is an estimate that had to be published in the r~ev~spaper but the final cost ~.;i!l be as bid° The cost estimates are as close as possible. 1.~. Strut asked if there is a years warranty on the rca5 by the contractor. Who is contacted in order to take care of any problems on 'the road. I'.~. Sba answered that the contractor has 'to be bonded to guaranty the rom_~ and if 'there are any problems %he City should be notified and they ~itl ca]_]_ the contractor. Nr. Strut asked if the road is !imi%ed to five 'tons, ,~ilt there be a sign posted on two entrances to Greenland Hills on each end. }~ Sba said this is something they have debated. Technically this is a seven ton road but you could post if you so desire. K. Strut asked the Coumcil if there is any chance of getting a speed limit sign o£ 20 mph posted 'to eliminate any speeding. Mayor Cox replied that 'th_is isn't a matter of this public hearing. Attorney Goodrich said this could be discussed at a later date.
