Page 2 Special Council Meeting August 21, 1978 Bob Ilstrip asked if there could be cost cutbacks and if so over all areas and could it be prorated. City Engineer Raatikka said it would be on an area basis. Art Dussl asked if they could have the contractor do the whole driveway. He was told yes. August DeReubis asked when the project will begin. He was told it will begin next week but there is a lot of preparation work. Art Dussl asked how they would be assessed. The Council will set the interest rate and it will be over a 10 year period. A homeowner has the option to pay it all at anytime. A homeowner will have 30 days after notice to them of the amount to pay in full or it will be assessed them on their taxes. Art Dussl thanked the Council for the opportunity they had for expressing their opinions. Vera McGregor Liquor License Ordinance Complaint Vera McGregor was present with a complaint on the off-sale liquor license ordinance. He complaint is the 1200 feet from an existing on-sale to an off-sale liquor store. She feels they should amend the ordinance so an off- sale could be closer. There was a discussion on the issue. A motion was made by Tom Gamec to accept Vera McGregor's $400. investigation fee and amend the ordinance on the distance requirements. Gary Reimann seconded the motion. 4 ayes Motion carried Tom Gamec report on the CAB meeting that he and Administrator Lloyd Schnelle attended. There is a new study being done and feel that sewer to Ramsey will be delayed for quire some time. There is a second meeting in 30 days on the same subject. There was a discussion on the landfill. A motion by Gary Reimann to adjourn the special council meeting. Tom Gamec seconded the motion. 4 ayes Motion carried The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
