Regular Council <br />page 7 <br />October 10~ 1978 <br /> <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT BOND; CASE OF STREET IMPROVEb~NT PROJECTS <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt <br />Resolution Number 78-26 continuation of the sale of Ramsey's 1978 Bituminous <br />Surfacing Improvement Bonds to 6:30 P.M. on October 17, 1978. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Mayor Cox approved <br />Councilman Muller approved <br />Councilman Reimann approved <br />Councilman Mickelson approved <br />Councilman Gamec approved <br /> <br />NUISANCE AND BLIGHT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mu]ler and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />ordinance 78-6 an addition to the Health and Safety Ordinance. <br /> <br />5 ayes <br />Motion carried <br /> <br />Mayor Cox approved <br />Councilman Muller approved <br />Councilman Reimann approved <br />Councilman Mickelson approved <br />Councilman Gamec approved <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMPLAINT REGARDING NUISANCE AND BLIGHT <br /> <br />Mr. Merle Anderson, 6224 RivlynAvenue, appealed to the Council for better <br />planning of the City. He stated the area south of Highway #10 looks like <br />a junk yard and the people residing in the area are concerned with the <br />general appearance. <br /> <br />DUTCH ELM TREES TO ANOKA LANDFILL <br /> <br />It is to be noted that a letter has been sent to the City of Anoka concern- <br />ing their hauling of dutch elm trees to the Anoka Landfill. <br /> <br />PLAYING FIELDS/BALLFIELDS AT RAMSEY SCHOOL <br /> <br />It is the general concensus of the Council that Ramsey is being treated un- <br />fairly by the school district. Mayor Cox is on the next school board <br />agenda for October 23, 1978. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka presented two bids he had received for the ballfields <br />They are: <br /> <br />$22,825.00 - Oak Hill Gravel <br />$11,950.00 - Matt Bullick Construction <br /> <br />It should be noted this does not include the Ag Lime. <br /> <br /> <br />
