Regular Council page 7 October 10~ 1978 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT BOND; CASE OF STREET IMPROVEb~NT PROJECTS Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Gamec to adopt Resolution Number 78-26 continuation of the sale of Ramsey's 1978 Bituminous Surfacing Improvement Bonds to 6:30 P.M. on October 17, 1978. 5 ayes Motion carried Mayor Cox approved Councilman Muller approved Councilman Reimann approved Councilman Mickelson approved Councilman Gamec approved NUISANCE AND BLIGHT ORDINANCE Motion by Councilman Mu]ler and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt ordinance 78-6 an addition to the Health and Safety Ordinance. 5 ayes Motion carried Mayor Cox approved Councilman Muller approved Councilman Reimann approved Councilman Mickelson approved Councilman Gamec approved CITIZEN COMPLAINT REGARDING NUISANCE AND BLIGHT Mr. Merle Anderson, 6224 RivlynAvenue, appealed to the Council for better planning of the City. He stated the area south of Highway #10 looks like a junk yard and the people residing in the area are concerned with the general appearance. DUTCH ELM TREES TO ANOKA LANDFILL It is to be noted that a letter has been sent to the City of Anoka concern- ing their hauling of dutch elm trees to the Anoka Landfill. PLAYING FIELDS/BALLFIELDS AT RAMSEY SCHOOL It is the general concensus of the Council that Ramsey is being treated un- fairly by the school district. Mayor Cox is on the next school board agenda for October 23, 1978. City Engineer Raatikka presented two bids he had received for the ballfields They are: $22,825.00 - Oak Hill Gravel $11,950.00 - Matt Bullick Construction It should be noted this does not include the Ag Lime.
