Annual Board and Commission Interviews: The City Council will conduct its annual board and <br />commission interviews on Tuesday, March 8th at 5:30 Candidates will be appointed on Tuesday, <br />March 22°a and new terms will begin in April. <br />Recruitment Update: <br />• Open Positions <br />o The City is currently accepting applications for a full-time (replacement) Patrol <br />Officer (open through March 18th) <br />o The City is accepting applications for Seasonal Workers to work in Public Works <br />(open through March 25th) <br />o Intern interviews will be held next week for interns to work in the Administrative <br />Services, Community Development, and Parks. Engineering Interviews will be <br />held on a separate date YTD. <br />o 6 -Month PW Parks Seasonal Position — Staff is currently reviewing applications' <br />The new multi -discipline building also includes a <br />Ramsey Police Department sub -station and space for an Allina Ambulance vehicle and crew. The <br />building was carefully planned to ensure it enhances the city's ability to provide effective and <br />efficient delivery of fire protection and emergency response services to Ramsey residents and <br />businesses, today and into the future. <br />Life Fitness Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. On Wednesday, <br />March 2, 2016, Life Fitness completed the construction of a <br />nearly 50,000 square foot expansion to their existing 280,000 <br />square foot precision manufacturing facility in Ramsey. <br />Members of the Ramsey City Council, Ramsey Economic <br />Development Authority, and Life Fitness (Brunswick <br />Corporation) were present at the ribbon cutting ceremony. The <br />well attended ceremony included words from Brunswick <br />Corporation leadership and Ramsey Mayor Sarah Strommen. <br />Life Fitness is Ramsey's largest employer, with over 457 jobs, including 371 full-time positions. <br />Life Fitness began Ramsey operations in 1998. This new expansion results in the creation of 26 <br />new full-time jobs and the clean-up of the former HealthQuest site. <br />
